Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically-minded Paraplanner to join our team. The Paraplanner will primarily work closely with our CEO, who is also a wealth manager, to develop comprehensive financial plans, cash flows, estate plans, investment proposals and support the delivery of exceptional client service. They will work alongside an executive PA who is the client primary liaison and an admin assistant who focuses on executing instructions.

Tax, product and investment research
Key Responsibilities:
Develop asset allocation reports for clients
Research and develop investment proposals for clients
Generate wealth management proposals and reports for clients.
Develop cash flow reports for clients
Develop estate planning reports for clients
Create meeting packs for wealth management clients.
Draft Record of Advice documents, Replacement Records and other relevant documentation to accompany proposals.
Look to refine, develop and innovate on all reporting and proposal docs
Technical skills:
Should have very strong capabilities on Microsoft Office suite (particularly excel)
Should have strong product, tax, wealth management and financial planning knowledge
Should have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Should have Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ideally, have experience working with Morningstar
Ideally, have experience working with a financial planning tool like xplan or elite wealth
Qualifications and experience :
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in financial planning or a related role
Holder of or working towards a CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) certification
Experience with investment research and portfolio analysis
